The Google Pay payments service is available for Piraeus Bank customers

The Google Pay payments service is available for Piraeus Bank customers starting from September.

From now Piraeus Bank card holders can pay contactlessly for the purchases in stores with a smartphone or a smart watch all over the world.

The Google Pay benefits include convenience, speed and security of such payments execution. Firstly, the payment can be executed just after smartphone screen unlock, defense level of which is chosen by a client by his own. Secondly, payment card details, added in Google Pay, are secured reliably and not provided with to a vendor as a token is assigned to each card after it’s registration and used during a payment with a smartphone.

In order to start Google Pay using it is needed to add Visa card issued by Piraeus Bank in Google Pay application.
